Electronic Music for Square and Sine Wave

by Gregg Kowalsky

about

‘Electronic Music for Square and Sine Waves’ is a trembling long-form slice of phasing electronic tones, recorded as he moved around a room, changing people’s perception of the sounds as he modulated the sources. While Eleh is likely to be the best known for this kind of monolithic, slow-moving sound, Kowalsky’s take on it is more complex and somehow more rewarding – each subtle change is like a revelation, which is a testament to his skill as a producer. - Boomkat

Performed and Recorded live at Issues Project Room, NYC 2012 for the New Music for Old Instruments series, and released on Amish Records' Required Wreckers catalog.
